Lots to show and tell

Another busy day with ladies showing and telling us the story behind their completed quilts.
 Kathy displayed some of her items that she has made from fabrics that she has embellished and dyed herself.
 Fay completed this quilt that was donated for the community quilt group.
 Lyn used scraps to make this top.
 Beryl had fun playing with the Accuquilt cutter.
 Trish made this lovely and bright quilt with bali fabrics. It is the front of the pieced back that she showed us last week.

Social day

There were lots of quilts on display and social catching up at the club's new meeting venue.
These are the quilts that some ladies have ben busy making for family and friends, and trying new patterns and ideas.
Heather has done Boro stitching on these table centre's.

Kathy made this disappearing 9 patch to use up some scraps.

Trish made this for a backing trying out a new style.

Bev says this is going to be her use up the scraps year!

Welcome 2017

Toowoomba Quilters welcomed in the New Year in style in a new home, it was a big step for the club after meeting at the one venue for over 25 years. There were lots of boxes to unpack and sorting to be done ready for the year ahead.
Show and tell was a delight to see, some ladies were very busy over the holidays.


There is lots of room for the ladies to spread out and socialise with other members.
