Show and Tell on Bag Day

Jan brought along her latest grandchild's new quilt.  She is just putting the binding and finishing touches to it.
A lovely bright quilt with chenille squares surrounded by cottons.

She has made a bag out of some of the scraps.  Well done, Jan.

Bag Ladies

A happy group of enthusiastic ladies got together on Saturday to make tote bags to sell at our up-coming exhibition in September.
The sorters and cutters, Libby, Joan and Cheryl'

Sewers and presser, Sheila, Marleen and Diana.

Hard at work, Heather and Anne and Vida.

Some of the finished products with L-R Teresa, Diana, Vida, Marleen, Sheila and Lola.
That is not really a hat Teresa is wearing, but a cute little fabric box made by Anne.

Playing up to the camera!  Good look ladies!

Eye Candy Tuesday

This is a cute I-Spy quilt done with a "cheater" fabric.  The mystery maker is hiding.  Playing I-Spy??

Angela has done this bright and cheery strippy quilts using up her scraps, of course.

Gotta love black and white!!  The small strips in the borders add some interest to this one too.  Good work.

The following quilts are a bit more eye candy from a few weeks ago at a Saturday meeting.

Coffee and cream anyone?  This stunning quilt is a big one and put together beautifully by Lyn.

More Show and Tell

Di S. has finished two Stack and Whack quilts following her attendance at Fay's workshop last year. Fay is as delighted as her students when completed quilts arrive for Show and Tell!

Jan S finshed her first quilt recently: beautiful needle-turned applique plus she machine-quilted it herself.

Marlene who produces heaps of amazing work showed us this lovely quilt that she commenced in Robyn's workshop last year.
(Apologies to Marlene for the length of time this one has been left in the camera.)
