Members have been busy getting quilts completed for our upcoming exhibition in September.
While some other members have been learning how to design and colour fabric with gelli plate printing and textile paints.
As a group with over 100 enthusiastic members, we make quilts for charity, hold workshops, organise quilt shows and have lots of fun creating and sharing! Club details at toowoombaquiltersclub.org

Workshops
It has been a hive of activity lately at the sewing days. The club recently held a workshop with Lisa Walton showing us her Fantastic Fusion technique.
We all had a fabulous time and now look forward to seeing some stunning results.
One of the club members also led a class making a mystery quilt. After 3 sewing days which had everybody guessing what the pattern was going to be like, all was revealed and everyone very pleased with the result.
A few of the tops completed by some very eager sewers.
There were so many different colours and they all looked fabulous.
This quilt is a WIP. The club's librarian has been very busy sorting out books and finding interesting designs. She came across this one and had to start making it. Lovely batik colours.
