Toowoomba Quilters Club hosted this annual event during May this year and we were delighted to welcome over 360 people from approximately 20 clubs in the region. The Autumn in Toowoomba theme was evidenced by the autumn leaf name tags for participants and the display of the entries in the Club Challenge Qu
ilt Contest which required members to create an original quilt, 24 inches square, with an autumn theme. These are just a few of the entries. (More photos will follow in a future blog entry.)The pin cushion swap was very popular, the on-site vendors were kept busy and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to share knowledge and ideas with fellow quilters.
Proceeds from the raffle and cent auctions were donated to Angel Flight.
