Our very talented member Judy F has put together this wonderful Japanese Fan Quilt. Her daughter gave her a great big box of the background fabrics and Judy used lots of her scraps for the fan blades.
Here is Judy proudly showing us her quilt. All the scraps in the stripped border are within the quilt somewhere.
Judy ran out of Japanese fabric - so what to do? Paint your own, of course. Judy painted these fish and cranes. Wonderful work Judy.

this is a beautiful quilt just love the colours. It must have taken a long time to do...looks like a lot of work involved.
