In October last year an Art Quilt Group was formed under the umbrella of Toowoomba Quilters Club Inc. The group meets once a month on the 3rd Saturday, and shares techniques and ideas. Mini workshops are also held. It was decided that we might like to do A4 journal quilts trying out different techniques and materials and show them at the next exhibition. The theme chosen for our journal quilts and the subsequent exhibit was “Discovery”.
As many of our members were new to the textile fibre scene we went on a journey of discovery.
