There have been some finishes on the community quilts and the ladies have been busy working on getting some stock together.
Our friends west of us may be in need of some quilts in the coming winter months after the devastating floods they have experienced in the past couple of weeks.
Some cute little motifs put together in a log cabin style. This would be perfect for a little girl. One of the members will now put the layers together and quilt it.
All of the fabrics in this quilt have been kindly donated by members and it has been beautifully quilted by Fay. Dianne C is finishing the binding off on it.
This gorgeous little bunny quilt will be ideal for a little tot.
Fay and Helen busily working on the charity quilts.
Thank you to all the members who are giving their time and material so generously to the community quilts.
June is happily working on the paper pieced Reflections quilt for our 2012 raffle quilt.
Here is Joan R with her magnificent hand pieced Tumbling Blocks quilt. It took Joan some 3 –4 years to complete this quilt.
She had beautifully machine quilted it herself (see below)
Bravo Joan!!!
Heather R also had some show and tell for us..
Firstly, this sweet stitchery quilt. The stitcheries are from Julie Lovell’s “Sweet Inspiration” designs.
Very cute designs!
The second quilt was a Lady Bug quilt. Heather did this quilt from one of our books or magazines out of our library but can’t remember which one??
Lovely work, Heather.
This is “Lady Jolene” with her maker, Lyn L. Lyn does some very cute dolls and this one is from a design by Jill Maas.
Looks like 2012 is going to be the year of mass production at TQ.
Happy quilting……..
